Welcome to SMD MEDICARE ("Platform", "we", "us"). By accessing https://www.smdmedicare.in or purchasing medical equipment, diagnostic kits, or hospital supplies from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Exclusively B2B & Eligible Healthcare Buyers
SMD MEDICARE operates exclusively as a Business-to-Business (B2B) institutional medical equipment wholesaler and global exporter. We do not sell to retail consumers. To maintain stringent regulatory and clinical safety compliance under Indian and international healthcare laws, supplies are restricted strictly to verified entities:
- Hospitals, Wholesalers & Retailers: Holding an active and valid Drug License or registered hospital procurement authorization.
- Medical Practitioners (Allopathic Doctors): Holding a valid MCI / NMC (National Medical Commission) registration.
- Dental Clinics & Dental Surgeons: Holding a valid DCI (Dental Council of India) registration.
- Veterinary Healthcare Facilities: Veterinary practitioners holding a valid VCI (Veterinary Council of India) registration.
- Laboratories & Diagnostic Centers: Certified pathology, biochemistry, imaging, and clinical diagnostic facilities.
- Global Institutional Healthcare Importers: International hospital chains, ministries of health, and institutional procurement partners ($ USD, € EUR, £ GBP).
A valid license or professional registration proof is mandatory before order fulfillment or proforma invoice confirmation. Retail consumer purchase is strictly prohibited.
2. Quotations, Pricing & 100% Advance Payment Policy
- Institutional Benchmarks: All product prices displayed on the website are institutional wholesale benchmarks and are subject to formal quotation and official GST Tax Invoicing.
- Formal Quotation Validity: Official formal quotations provided via email or WhatsApp remain valid for 15 calendar days from the date of issuance.
- 100% Advance Payment Mandatory: All high-value hospital equipment (including ICU Ventilators, Dialysis Machines, Anesthesia Workstations, OT Tables, and Patient Monitors) are dispatched strictly against 100% Advance Payment.
- Accepted Modes of Payment: Direct Bank Wire Transfer (RTGS / NEFT / IMPS) to SMD MEDICARE's designated Current Bank Account against official GST Proforma Invoice, or International SWIFT Wire Transfer for overseas export shipments.
- Strictly No Cash on Delivery (COD): We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD), Pay on Delivery, or unsecured post-dated credit under any circumstances.
3. Pan-India & Global Export Dispatch
- In-stock orders are processed and dispatched within 24 to 48 business hours from our Roorkee fulfillment facility following full advance payment realization.
- Heavy hospital furniture and critical devices (OT tables, anesthesia machines, ICU beds) are shipped in custom heavy-duty wooden crate packaging with transit insurance.
- Estimated delivery timelines across India range between 3 to 7 business days depending on destination PIN code. Export shipments are handled via air/sea freight under standard Incoterms (FOB/CIF).
4. Quality Standards & Warranty
- All biomedical equipment, diagnostic analyzers, and surgical instruments meet applicable ISO, CE, and Indian regulatory benchmarks.
- Equipment items are backed by standard 1 to 2 Years Manufacturer Warranty covering manufacturing defects and technical component support.
- Consumable items (diagnostic test kits, electrodes, thermal paper rolls) are supplied with minimum 12 to 24 months shelf-life guarantee.
5. Strict No Return Policy & Warranty Claim Process
Important Policy Notice: All sales made through SMD MEDICARE are final. We maintain a strict NO RETURN & NO REFUND POLICY for all medical equipment, surgical instruments, diagnostic kits, and hospital supplies.
Due to medical device sterility, patient safety mandates, clinical hygiene protocols, and wholesale B2B pricing models:
- No Returns / No Cancellations: Once a payment is received by us, returns, refunds, or cancellations are strictly not accepted under any situation. This applies whether the product is currently being packed, has already been dispatched, or is in transit. Our only obligation upon receiving payment is to dispatch and deliver the ordered goods to you.
- Reporting Transit Damage / Defect: In the event of physical transit damage or manufacturing defect observed upon delivery, the buyer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear unboxing images/videos and invoice details at

Upon receiving your claim, we will forward all photos, videos, and technical reports directly to the respective OEM Manufacturer / Brand. The manufacturer's technical inspection team will evaluate the claim and determine the appropriate resolution (such as component replacement, repair, or service) strictly under their official warranty terms.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any commercial transactions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Roorkee / Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
